Also known as Ice Quartz, Nirvana Quartz, Kulli Quartz
This is a new quartz from the Himalayan Mountains of India. I have been told that the mine has been closed but can not verify this. We found these magnificent crystal in Tucson 2007 the first day I was there. I was able to get a preview sneak into the tent of the Indian Dealer. When I saw these quartz I was blown away by their presence and consulted with a friend. We bought all that the dealer had being told that this was the entire production of the quartz. Later in the show I did see another dealer with the same quartz but of an inferior quality to the lot we have. Whether these will continue to be mined we do not know. It is sometimes hard to get the real stories in Tucson. It really is sometimes like the old west. (Tombstone is right outside Tucson!) I do know that the other dealer who had the lower quality had raised the price substantially from what we were able to get ours at.
We do know that it is growth interference quartz by the shape and configuration. I showed these to Melody who immediately let out a huge WHAOO!!!!! ( I asked her for permission to quote her *S* ) She held them and was in love with them immediately... I think you will love these as well. They are internally clear and all have full terminations. The terminations have been described as a C termination as many of them are flat across the top or bottom. Some also have layered growth as well. Quite a find!

What I have received from the crystals working with them is they are able to help us see the beauty in the unformed... to see what is there where there is nothing to see. They assist us in seeing the preciousness of and the learning of the lesson of "Thank God for unanswered prayer".
