The Boekenhout Jasper, truly a stone beyond comparison, is normally found as the foundation upon which some Spirit Quartz (previously reported) has grown, developed, and matured. The occurrence of quartz crystals and quartz crystal structures within this jasper is very rare; the quartz crystal structures have been seen to occur in a state where the jasper, itself, has replaced part of the quartz crystal, leaving the outline of the quartz crystal; in some cases, the jasper has engulfed the crystals which were floating during upheaval and earth-changes providing for the entire structure of the quartz crystal to remain as a pattern within the mass. In some cases, when the structure is slabbed, there remains a druse of Spirit Quartz on the top of the configuration.
A wonderful stone for healing, the crystals within the jasper were used in Lemurian healing ceremonies and retain the records of both the knowledge of use and the methods of facilitation leading to results.
