Overview
The horse teaches that real power comes from strength and wisdom. It requires love and compassion on order to achieve. This Spirit Pony is adorned with copper wire and a genuine turquoise stone. Turquoise is believed to bring good fortune and strength.
Each piece is hand formed and fired in an outdoor kiln to over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Molten hot, it is placed in a pit with dried brush and msequite shavings that burst into flame. The varying conditions of the raku process assure that each piece is "one of a kind."
